Our Practitioners

Please note, Brightstone Clinic seeks to match you with the right therapist for your needs. We aim to respond as quickly as we can, but it can take a few days to identify the right therapist who also has availability. However, if you feel your mental health needs are urgent or you are in Crisis then we would encourage you to seek additional support as we cannot offer you a Crisis intervention service.

The relationship we have with our life partner can give us a sense of safety, support and confidence, of being cared for and cherished. When we experience difficulties in those relationships our connection can falter, our well-being can suffer and we can be left feeling overwhelmed by our emotions. This overwhelm can affect many parts of our lives and can bring fear, distress and loneliness.

My work is centred around Couples with Relationship issues, from younger couples to older couples. For appointments, contact the clinic on 01270 748448 or email [email protected]

I’m a humanistic counsellor which means I believe in the innate capacity within us all to continuously expand our potential through living, learning, healing and growth. I trust we each have the resources within us to thrive in life, though appreciate it can be very difficult to connect with our own abilities or escape patterns of being that keep us stuck. As a counsellor I offer my experience to support your journey, perhaps in reuniting with yourself or perhaps discovering and harnessing inner resources you haven’t previously recognised in yourself. I work in a collaborative and creative way drawing on a range of theories, techniques, and styles tailored to you and your situation, in the hope of offering you a safe space, where you feel supported, accepted and free to be in whilst you address the complexities that could be stopping you from living the life you would like.

As well as offering private practise counselling I teach for the Open University and have worked within schools, colleges, alternative education settings, youth engagement services and various counselling charities. I’m a mother, daughter, sister, friend and colleague, I’m passionate about nature and I strongly believe we could do with more compassion, love and connection in our world…and like you maybe? I am a person trying to make sense of the world during the pandemic we are in the midst of. Which really means; I understand, personally, professionally and academically how it feels when we find ourselves overwhelmed, believing we are ill equipped to deal with life, and that change is most definitely possible no matter how far away it feels
